While the stock shifter is more than functional, there is huge room for improvement. GrimmSpeed saw these shortcomings and created their own adjustable short shifter. Each shifter is made from CNC 6061-T6 billet aluminum for the body, CNC A513-T5 DOM steel for the upper shaft, 303 stainless steel for the center bearing shaft, and CNC 1045 steel for the ball end. The materials ensure excellent quality, durability, and function. The careful attention to details ensure that each shifter is a direct fit with no trimming or modifications needed.
The most unique feature of the GrimmSpeed Short Throw Shifter is its adjustability. The throw reduction can be set from 0% to 26.3% (reduction) from stock! The height is also adjustable from +0.3" (above) to -1.0" (below) compared to stock. The GrimmSpeed shifter is M12x1.25 threaded and accepts any shift knob in this size. NOTE: models with reverse lockout will still need a shift knob that fits reverse lockout.

IMPORTANT: At the most aggressive throw setting, minor rubbing may occur between the shift linkage and the rubber gasket in 1st and 3rd gears. One of the laser-etched marks will show the max-recommended setting before interference occurs. Trimming the gasket is possible but not recommended.
