When upgrading the camshaft, upgrading the Lost Motion Assembly (LMA) is often overlooked. Just like the valve springs, the lost motion assembly should be upgraded at the same time if applicable. This ensures that the VTEC rocker is maintained in it's proper position and engages smoothly. It also provides additional spring force to control the added weight of the rockers assembly.
