The KYB Excel-G twin tube shocks and struts offer an economical professional replacement for worn OEM shocks. KYB shocks and struts are designed to restore your vehicle's originally designed handling and control characteristics while being affordable and easy to install. As a long time manufacture and supplier of OEM shocks and struts for many large import vehicle companies, KYB offers the same high quality reliable suspension technology to the public with these shocks and struts. The quality of each application meets or exceeds OEM tolerances and the result is a long lasting high quality smooth riding suspension damper well suited to daily driving and mild sport use.

These KYB shock absorbers are calibrated to account for worn or time lowered suspension components and as a result they can be used with mild drop lowering springs. Springs with drop rates up to 1.0 inches lower than stock work well with these shocks. Lowering springs with greater lowering ranges may also be used but the ride quality may not be as smooth. (if you want to lower your car more than 1 inch, we recommend using other shocks or full coilovers). The special valving of the KYB shock is tailored to each application for best performance. When used within the range of normal operation these shocks and struts provide a clean smooth ride perfect for daily driving, cruising and light sport driving.

Key Features:
  • Restores original control and handling.
  • Calibrated to compensate for worn and lowered suspension.
  • Specialized valving for each application.
  • Economical and easy to install.
