The Mishimoto Intercooler and Charge Piping Upgrade Kit is made to be the perfect solution for keeping intake air temperatures in check on modified turbocharged vehicles. OEM intercoolers are often incapable of cooling the air coming in to the engine effectively, which can result in a loss of power and even engine failure in extreme cases. The Mishimoto upgrade kits come with an intercooler designed to work with modified turbo applications where the factory intercooler is just not able to keep up with the added heat.

Mishimoto also kept in mind the importance of making these kits a simple install, which is why they made their intercoolers to be a basic bolt-on solution and generally will not require any modification to the bumper.
