Lift kits normally come with upgraded shocks / struts, springs and/or lift blocks, but sometimes also feature pre-assembled full coilover type units. Some lift kits even consist of just new springs, which have to be carefully designed to work with your factory shocks / struts and usually are limited in how much they can raise your ride height.
