We include the REQUIRED longer pickup tube (normally sold separately) with all applications.
During a race or aggressive driving, oil starvation can be an issue. As you speed up, brake, turn, and jostle the car around, the oil also sloshes around as well. This can cause the oil pick up tube to also pick up air. The Torque Solution HD Oil Pan solves this by not only making a pan that holds up to 6 quarts of oil, but adds baffling as well. The baffles ensure the oil stays as level as possible, even during the most demanding situations. These oil pans are offered in two versions, a Street version and a Race version.
The Street version offers a simple baffle system, that easily handles street driving and mild track use without issues. The Race version offers a more complex baffling system, with oil control valves for even the most extreme racing conditions.
Each HD Oil Pan is made of CNC cast aluminum, with the baffles made of stainless steel. The pan also has a gasket groove for an O-ring style gasket, not only allowing you to reuse the same gasket, but you will no longer need to scrape off old gasket material! Plus, all hardware is included, making for a complete install process. Each oil pan includes a 1/2" NPT port for an oil temp sensor too.
