When lowering a car, it is important to keep in mind that suspension geometry will change and often lead to less than ideal handling characteristics. A vehicle's roll center is almost always affected with lowered suspension, and if not optimized can lead to excessive body-roll during cornering and will negatively affect your camber curve! The same can be said for bump steer, as it can cause the front-end of the vehicle to wander when hitting bumps, or compressing the suspension in hard corners.

The original geometry of the suspension arms are engineered to perform optimally at factory ride-height, but all this goes out the window when the ride-height is altered.
