All Megan radiators are designed to be used only on MANUAL TRANSMISSION equipped cars, unless otherwise noted. Some applications may fit on automatic transmission equipped cars, but may require use of an auxiliary transmission cooler.
Cooling is one of the most important aspects of performance and reliability. Proper cooling not only keeps your Subaru WRX STI's engine running at the right temperature, but also ensures it stays there too. The stock radiator is capable of doing that under most day to day conditions. However, as you increase power or use it for racing, the stock radiator begins to show it's weaknesses. Megan Racing aluminum radiators provide a thicker core and an all-aluminum construction. This provides a perfect solution to get rid of heat, even under extreme conditions. Most radiators will have a 2 or 3 row core that provides a large area for coolant to dissipate heat. Each radiator is a direct-fit, bolt-on design for a quick and easy installation.
Radiator Cap Notes: On most applications, a high-pressure 1.1-1.3 bar radiator cap to further enhance cooling capabilities. Radiators without an included cap will REUSE the stock cap. Please note that the radiator cap will NOT be included on applications that do not have a filling neck on the factory radiator.
