By reducing heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold, air flowing through the manifold can stay cooler. This cooler air can provide up to 5 percent more torque and horsepower. These Thermal Intake Manifold Gaskets are made of a high temp resistant plastic that can withstand up to 400 degree Fahrenheit temperatures.
