The addition of a GReddy intercooler is one of the best ways to safely increase horsepower in a turbocharged Mazda RX7 engine. By reducing the engine's inlet temperatures, a denser air charge will enter the engine; this can make more horsepower at the same boost level and even more power at higher boost levels. GReddy's vehicle specific kits include all the necessary mounts, piping and hoses required for install into your Mazda RX7. All kits are designed with specific cores to provide an ideal compromise of cooling and flow, with the added benefit of style.

The intercooler kits for the Mazda RX7s are designed as upgrades for Greddy turbo kits. They feature GReddy's "V-Spec" intercooler core. V-Spec cores have an inner "Micro Groove Tube" design. This design was developed to allow for larger intercoolers that give good cooling with a more free flowing internal core. This is ideal for applications with low to medium-high boost levels in factory turbocharged engines or normally aspirated engines with bolt-on turbo kits.
